Throughout his career so far, he has appeared at many major venues and festivals around the world including Ronnie Scotts, Rochester Jazz Festival New York, Pizza Express Jazz Club (Soho), Cheltenham International Jazz Festival, Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Istanbul Jazz Festival, EFG London Jazz Festival, Moods Jazz Club (Zurich), Wuhan Jazz Fest (China), The Kings Place, Brecon Jazz Festival, Love Supreme Jazz Festival and The Paris Cat (Melbourne).
He released his debut solo album Citizen with USA Ropeadope Records in 2018 to critical acclaim leading to many high profile international performances including headlining the Bremen Music Festival and opening for saxophone legend Joshua Redman at the Barbican concert hall in London. Duncan has just recorded his next album for Ropeadope amongst a roster of jazz’s brightest stars including Aaron Parks, David Sanchez and Christian Scott.

“Eagles’s tone on his various horns achieves an impressive blend of colours and dynamics. His compositions and arrangements, embracing sinuous, sinewy elegance, spikey funk and languid ballads, repay close attention.” BBC Music Magazine
“Saxophonist Duncan Eagles holds the stage with his attractively dry tone, sharpness and the urgent ferocity of his tenor improvising” John Fordham, The Guardian.
